Music to Your Ears
Boulder’s always got a rockin’ (bah dah tsssss) music scene. With well known and long running venues and lots of active local musicians our citizens are truly spoiled.
The Fox is up on the Hill, which is the university area of town. They’re an awesome venue for two reasons: great size, layout, and sound for any concert goer and they have shows almost every day. The second is definitely an amazing feat to accomplish, especially when they’re packing the house with music from all genres. On 10/1, the Fox is hosting a sold-out show (check Craigslist?) by Pretty Lights (@theprettylights), who hail from Ft. Collins. On 10/2 & 10/3, Galactic will be playing some sure-to-be killer sets.
The Boulder Theater is a landmark in Boulder. It’s got that historical look to it but is always on the move to host awesome local cultural and musical events as well as to bring in talented artists from around the country and the world. They even host the occasional movie night with titles such as The Big Lebowski (a favorite) and The Hangover. Their shows…
